At Dr. Hear your safety has always been our number one priority. Covid-19 is part of our lives now and for the foreseeable future. It is  important you know the steps drhear is taking to make sure you experience no or minimal interruptions in service while not compromising the health and wellbeing of you, our super staff or our community.
Here is what we are doing:
Temperature monitoring for anyone entering office. Anyone showing signs of illness or fever will be not be permitted entry into the office
We have always used and continue to use medical grade FDA approved disinfecting and/or sterilizing products on communal surfaces and medical equipment.
Pre-screening patients and staff before entering the office for signs of illness including but not limited to: fever, shortness of breath, chills, gastrointestinal distress, etc.
We require you wear a mask or face covering to your appointment. Our team will continue the use of masks and when appropriate gloves to help keep you safe.
Patients will be staggered.
Social distancing between patients and providers will continue as much as possible. We have reorganized our consultation area to allow for appropriate distance during appointments.
If you need an evaluation, hearing test or follow up:
Appointments are staggered throughout the day, with ample time to disinfect before and after each patient.
If you or a member of your household has experienced a persistent cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, or run a fever in the last 14 days, we will need to postpone or reschedule your appointment for two weeks.
If you or a member of your household has worked in a facility or been in close contact with a confirmed or probable COVID-19 case, we will need to reschedule your appointment for a minimum of two weeks or until you have had a negative Covid test.
At this time, we ask that if it is necessary for you to bring a guest, you limit it to one guest. We have loved meeting your families over the years, and we look forward to the day we can welcome everyone back. However, at this time it is critical for us to put your safety first.
